I believe that yoga is a practice of inquiry that leads you on a journey of self-discovery. My personal practice on and off the mat is heavily influenced by the Yoga Sutras; I believe in nonviolence, continuous study, self-care, discipline, and truth. I like to think that my compassionate, accessible, and lighthearted teaching style grows organically from these principles.
Competing with the United States Gymnastics Federation for 8 years led to a natural progression into yoga. Now with almost 1200 hours of registered Yoga Teacher Training Credits, I very happily teach hot Hatha and hot Vinyasa yoga classes at Modo Yoga in New York City.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, I am a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. I have worked as a professional actor, general manager, producer, and fundraiser Off Broadway for over 20 years.
