Living calmly in NYC is a challenge. I find that often I get tense, stressed, and annoyed by certain obstacles the city has to offer. This negatively affects my mental balance, (Sattva). I would like to find a way re-train my habitual response to these stimuli.
For this project, I identified obstacles that brought stress into my life. When I experienced said obstacles, I paused and internally chanted the mantra "Be" on an inhale and "Peace" on an exhale. I journaled about the events, and the experience the mantra had on my psyche, every day for 30 days
